Woman in critical condition after Norfolk hit-and-run; police looking for suspect

Norfolk police are searching for the driver involved in a New Year’s Day hit-and-run that left a woman in critical condition.

Officers responded to the 1800 block of East Little Creek Road at 4:25 a.m. Jan. 1 following a report of a pedestrian hit by a vehicle. The victim was suffering from life-threatening injuries, and she remains in critical condition, police said in a news release Monday.

Police said the vehicle that hit the woman was a Honda Odyssey with a temporary license plate. Anyone with information about the hit-and-run is encouraged to call the Norfolk Crime Line anonymously at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP or submit a tip through the P3 Tips mobile app.
