Woman critically injured in east Fort Worth shooting, according to police

A woman was shot and critically injured during an argument in east Fort Worth on Friday night, police said.

Fort Worth officers responded to 7254 Oakline Trail around 9:40 p.m. regarding a shooting call. They found a woman with a gunshot wound in the neck. The woman had been involved in a verbal argument “where a partially identified actor” fired at her, according to police.

The victim was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. There are no suspects in custody, police said. No other details about the shooting were immediately available.
