Woman Cuts Hair in Protest Outside Iranian Consulate in Istanbul

A woman cut her hair to cheers from a crowd gathered in front of the Iranian consulate in Istanbul, Turkey, on Wednesday, September 21, as protesters, including Iranian nationals, gathered following the death of Mahsa Amini.

Footage by news outlet ETHA shows the woman, identified by Reuters as Iranian national Nasibe Samsaei, cutting her hair and raising it up in protest.
