The deceased pedestrian has been identified as Kerry L. Hanika, 68, said police Sgt. Justin Joyce.

Officers were called about 8:30 a.m. Wednesday to the scene, where they found Hanika in the roadway suffering from life-threatening injuries, Joyce said.
