Woman dies in rollover crash on Atlanta’s downtown connector Tuesday morning

A woman died Tuesday morning on the downtown connector when her SUV overturned in a crash.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash.

NewsDrone 2 flew over the scene near University Avenue SW in Southwest Atlanta.

Atlanta Police investigators said the woman veered to the right and struck a concrete wall, causing her SUV to roll multiple times.

Investigators are still trying to determine the circumstances surrounding the crash.

All of the northbound lanes of I-75/85 were shut down for hours as police and first responders cleared the scene.

Police have not yet identified the victim.
