Woman, dog dead after crash in Prince William County; alcohol possibly factor, police say

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) — Police said that a woman died almost two weeks after a crash in Prince William County.

On April 15, Prince William County Police Department (PWCPD) officers responded to Yates Ford Road for a crash around 2:25 p.m.

Metrobus, car crash in Northeast DC; 8 hurt

Police said that someone was driving a pickup truck west on Yates Ford Road towards Evans Ford Road when another car driving east on Yates Ford Road got into the intersection in front of the truck. The two vehicles collided.

PWCPD said that a Pug in the car died in the crash. Two people in the car were taken to the hospital with serious injuries. On April 26, the passenger — 32-year-old Jessica Lynn Randall of Manassas — died. The driver was expected to survive.

Police said that alcohol seemed to be a factor for the car’s driver, a man from Manassas. Charges were pending.
