Her hands and feet were bound before she was tossed in a canal and drowned.
Her killer held her head under water until she stopped breathing. Then the killer untied the body and took the ropes.
Four days later the body of 23-year-old Allyson Williams was found floating in the Dania Beach Cut-Off Canal off Griffin Road, the Broward Sheriff’s Office said.
Lorenzo Jerome Pulliam was arrested at his apartment Saturday and faces a charge of first-degree murder, the Sheriff’s Office said Monday.
The Sheriff’s Office said in a statement said it received information that Pulliam may have been involved in Williams’s death. The statement said evidence obtained through search warrants implicated Pulliam. The Sheriff’s Office did not elaborate.
It’s unclear whether Williams and Pulliam knew each other and what led up to her death.
