Woman fails to report for prison sentence

May 23—POTTSVILLE — Schuylkill County District Attorney Michael A. O'Pake and the Schuylkill County detectives are asking the public to help them locate a woman who failed to report to begin serving her prison sentence earlier this month.

Detectives said Sarah E. Harring, 33, failed to appear at the Schuylkill County Prison on May 4 to begin serving a sentence of five to 12 months.

The original charges against Harring were felony retail theft and misdemeanor receiving stolen property, detectives said.

Harring is described as being white, about 5 feet 1 inch tall and weighing about 110 pounds. She has a last known address of 64 Clay St. in Tremont.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Harring or any other fugitive in Schuylkill County is asked to call the district attorney's office at 570-628-1350 or Schuylkill County Tip Line at 570-624-3988.

In addition, detectives said that anyone who may see or come in contact with Harring is asked to call the Schuylkill County 911 Center or their local police department immediately.
