Woman found dead near Walmart in Phoenix
A woman was found dead near a Walmart Supercenter in west Phoenix on Monday afternoon, police said.
At about 3 p.m., Phoenix police responded to a shopping center near 75th Avenue and McDowell Road regarding a dead body that was found, officials said. When officers arrived, they found a woman with obvious signs of trauma.
The woman was pronounced dead on the scene.
Police said detectives were investigating the incident. The specific details of the woman's injuries will be determined by the Office of the Medical Examiner, according to police.
