Woman injured in Saturday crash in Lakota, North Dakota

Oct. 23—LAKOTA, N.D. — A woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash in Lakota on Saturday, Oct. 22.

According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, the 34-year-old woman — whose name was not released in an initial NDHP incident report — was driving a 2009 Nissan Versa east on Highway 2, attempting to turn left onto Highway 1. A 2006 Toyota 4Runner was coming from the west.

The Highway Patrol report says the Nissan failed to yield, entered the intersection and stuck the Toyota.

Nobody in the 4Runner was injured.
