Woman killed in city's 26th murder
A woman was fatally shot in the city’s 26th murder this year.
Albuquerque police responded to the Bow and Arrow Motel on Central Near Wyoming early Friday morning where they found a woman with a gunshot wound.
The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital where she died from her injuries.
"If you were just there to take something from her than just take it, spare her, why take someone's life," said a hotel staff-member who did not want to be identified.
Witnesses at the scene told us they knew the victim and she was a nice woman who stayed at the motel often.
Police say the victim is Alysia Summerhill.
