Woman killed in weekend Upper Southampton fire identified

A 60-year-old woman and several pets were found dead following a house fire in Upper Southampton over the weekend, according to authorities.

Bucks County Coroner Meredith Buck said Kaye L. Lewis was found dead in the home on Wendy Road early Saturday morning. Lewis' cause of death remains under investigation.

Southampton Fire Co. said crews were dispatched to the home just before midnight and found a "well advanced" fire on both the first and second floors. After putting the fire out, crews found Lewis and the pets.

Additional information on the fire was not available Tuesday afternoon.
