Gunshots from outside Kansas City house killed a Woman inside: Police

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A woman is dead after a shooting on Kansas City’s east side Tuesday night, according to Kansas City Police.

Around 10 p.m. Tuesday, people who live at a home on 32nd Street and Agnes called police due to the sound of gunshots.

When officers arrived, they found a woman who’d been shot inside a house there, and paramedics pronounced her dead at the scene. She has been identified as 58-year-old Nancy Stinnett.

A preliminary investigation suggests the victim was inside the house when shots came from the outside and hit her.
