Woman With No Mask Commands ‘Demon’ to Leave Supermarket Aisle in Washington

A shopper at a grocery store in southwest Washington attracted a lot of attention from fellow customers earlier this week as she called them demons and cast them out of the vitamin aisle.

Tara Lee Holcomb recorded the incident in a Fred Meyer’s store in Longview, Washington, on July 21.

The woman can be heard ordering employees and shoppers she refers to as “demons” from the aisle until she can “buy something.”

“She doesn’t want anyone to go down that aisle until she can get what she wants and leave the aisle. So she’s rebuking everyone that enters the aisle,” an individual comments in the video.

Effective July 7, Washington state has been directing businesses to require and enforce the use of face coverings by all customers and clients, officials said. It’s unclear if the maskless shopper is agitated by other shoppers wearing masks.

A subsequent video of the incident posted to Twitter by Holcomb shows the woman being held down by a man at the front of the store. She can be heard yelling, “Let go of me.”
