Woman seriously injured in crash near Osborn

Nov. 10—A Maysville, Missouri, woman suffered serious injuries in a two-vehicle accident on U.S. Highway 36 on Wednesday afternoon.

The crash occurred just after 4:30 p.m. near Osborn in Dekalb County, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.

Becky Luna, 73, of Maysville, was attempting to cross the highway in a 2022 Ford Escape when the vehicle was struck in the side by a 2022 Nissan Rogue driven by Matthew Hull, 40, of Troutville, Virginia.

Both vehicles ran off the highway and came to rest in the median, according to the crash report.

Luna was taken to Mosaic Life Care by ambulance for her injuries. Hull refused medical attention at the scene, according to the crash report.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts.
