Woman shot in Renton when group gathered for fight
Police are looking for a suspect who shot a woman near the Highlands Library in Renton Wednesday night.
At 10:50 p.m., officers were dispatched to a shooting in the 900 block of Sunset Lane Northeast.
When officers arrived, they found a woman in her early 20s who had been shot in the leg.
Witnesses told police that a large group of people had gathered in the area for a fight when shots were fired.
The woman was taken to Harborview Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said no suspect information is available.
