Woman slashed in face in Manhattan subway station

A woman was slashed in the face as she walked down the stairs of a Manhattan subway station, police said Tuesday.

The 30-year-old victim was making her way inside the 23rd St. Station in Chelsea on Saturday when a woman approached her around 8:40 a.m., cops said.

The assailant pulled out a razor blade and slashed the victim in the face.

The attacker ran out of the station and took off eastbound on 23rd St., police said.

The victim was treated at the scene.

Police are still looking for the slasher, described as about 30 years old, 6 feet tall and 115 pounds.
