Terrifying Beauty Fail May Scare You From Ever Using Eyelash Curlers Again

Sneezing while applying mascara; we’ve all done it. But sneezing while curling our eyelashes? That would really hurt.
Unfortunately for one woman, she did exactly that, and lost several of her eyelashes in the process.
Posting visual evidence of the incident on Reddit, it looks uncomfortable to say the least.
As you can see, the majority of the eyelashes once on her right eye are missing.
Reddit users have been quick to express their condolences.
Voidfulhate posted: “RIP. That must have been soo painful”, to which the victim Aub3912 replied “I really thought i (sic) ripped my eyelid in half.“
In other images posted by Aub3912 you can see the true extent of the damage. (Though they’re not for the faint of heart.)

One user looked on the bright side, commenting: “You’ve got a lot of wishes coming your way.”
Stradus13, meanwhile, joked: “Now do it to the other side and say it’s a new look your (sic) going for.”
One redditor, misslabelled, said they’d done something similar themselves and told the woman “Don’t freak out, they’ll come back!”

They also offered some handy tips: “Liquid liner will be your friend, with a thick brush no one will notice they are missing unless they get close.
“If you decide you want to wear fake eyelashes get natural looking short ones, they will last longer and be more comfortable.”
