Woman stabs man after she accused him of stealing bike in Northwest DC

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said a man was stabbed after a woman he knew claimed he took her bicycle in Northwest D.C.

Police said they responded to the 3100 block of 16th St. location for a stabbing.

MPD said the person who reported the incident said that when he returned from the bar to the location above, he saw that the victim had a bite mark on the right side of his face.

Man stabbed in Northeast DC

The victim told him “she stabbed me” while showing his injury. He said that the woman who attacked him was someone he has known for 10 years.

He said the woman came to his apartment for her bicycle that was allegedly in his closet. When the woman wasn’t able to find it, she accused the victim of taking it and stabbed him.

The woman left the scene before police arrived.
