Woman takes drastic revenge on boyfriend after allegedly catching him cheating: 'So extra and petty'

Everyone copes with an unfaithful partner in their own way. Some people prefer to mourn the loss of their relationship silently; others, in a fit of rage, will destroy everything they ever paid for so their perfidious partner can suffer, too.

In the age of TikTok, many scorned lovers are now also taking to the internet to air their grievances and document their very messy break-ups. User Emely Zambrano is a great example of this: On Feb. 20, she posted a video to her account explaining to her 220,000 followers how she would be revealing to her boyfriend that she knew he was allegedly cheating with three other women.

“My boyfriend consistently tells me that I’m crazy and paranoid for thinking he’s cheating so I decided to print out all of the evidence I found. This way he cannot gaslight his way out of it,” Zambrano explained. She grabbed some super glue spray from Home Depot and adorned his walls with all of the screenshots and DMs she had, making them impossible to ignore.

Zambrano’s revenge plot was mostly met with support on TikTok.

“The fact that there was enough evidence to cover the wall is disturbing,” one person said. “I’m so sorry, love. You deserve better.”

“I’m SOOO here for all the pettiness,” another added. “I wish I wasn’t so livid when I found out and called him out right away. I really wish I had the patience.”

Some users, though, criticized Zambrano for going through so much effort just to be “petty.”

“Why go to that extent for someone who doesn’t respect you?” one person asked.

“So extra and petty,” another wrote.

Other people have questioned whether the situation is even real since Zambrano still has videos up with her boyfriend. However, she has been responding to comments on her most recent video with her alleged ex and thanking people for their support during the supposed break-up. At one point, her ex apparently even made a TikTok account just to respond to comments and deny all of the claims Zambrano made in her videos, though it now seems to be deleted.

On Feb. 21, Zambrano made a follow-up video and explained that this wasn’t her boyfriend’s first time cheating, so she is choosing to cut him out of her life once and for all.

“When he texted me that he was on his way [to his apartment], I blocked him and ghosted him,” she explained. “He continued to call me [and] leave me voicemails, not apologizing, not asking for me back, but denying everything. I was like … how? How?”

Break-ups are never easy, but at least Zambrano has the internet on her side!
