A Tallahassee woman was killed and another person was injured in a wreck on I-10 in Gadsden County Wednesday afternoon, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The woman, 19, was in a vehicle headed westbound on the highway when it drove across the median and was struck by two eastbound vehicles.

One was a tractor trailer driven by a 42-year-old man and the other was an SUV with a 70-year-old woman and 71-year-old man, who received minor injuries.

FHP troopers received the emergency call at 11:41 a.m., according to FHP Master Cpl. Patricia Jefferson-Shaw. Traffic was moving slowly westbound, said Jefferson-Shaw, who was at the scene just after 2:30 p.m.
