Friends from Ohio who were vacationing together in New Mexico have been reported missing after not boarding their flight home, police say.

Brookville residents Robyn Bodine, 46, and Tracie Shoe, 52, were last heard from Tuesday, March 28, according to the Brookville Police Department.

The friends were vacationing at the Riverbend Hot Springs in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico.

“They checked out of their hotel yesterday before 11 a.m. & haven’t been seen since,” a family member said in a post shared Wednesday by the Truth or Consequences Police Department. “They were supposed to be heading, in their rental car towards Phoenix/Mesa Airport in Arizona yesterday to fly home today.”

Bodine and Shoe were traveling in a white Toyota sedan with Texas plates PJK9413. The pair had been in New Mexico for a birthday trip for Bodine, WHIO reported.

Their phones are going straight to voicemail, Shoe’s lifelong friend Jennifer Lightcap told WHIO.

Police in Brookville said they are in contact with the FBI and Truth or Consequences police regarding the investigation.

We just want them home,” Bodine’s daughter, Aly Craig, said in a Facebook post.
