Tuesday's record $1.602 billion Mega Millions jackpot drawing produced one winning ticket from Neptune Beach, Florida, that matched all six numbers in the Aug. 8 drawing: 13, 19, 20, 32 and 33 plus the gold Mega Ball 14.

But there were other winners in the big game, too.

According to Mega Millions, Tuesday’s drawing had 7,056,452 other winning tickets at various prize levels, including:

  • 7 tickets matched the five white balls (13, 19, 20, 32 and 33 ) to win the game’s second-tier prize. Two of those, including one each sold in Florida and North Carolina, are worth $2 million each, because they included the optional Megaplier, which was worth 2X. The other five tickets – sold in California, Pennyslvania, Texas (two) and West Virginia – won the standard second-tier prize.

  • 166 tickets matched four white balls plus the Mega Ball to win the game’s third-tier prize. Twenty-eight of those are worth $20,000 each, because they included the optional Megaplier. The other 138 tickets are worth $10,000 each.

All we know so far is that the winning ticket for the Aug. 8, 2023, drawing was bought at a Neptune Beach, Florida, Publix supermarket.
