Who won seats, which budgets passed in 2023 Mohawk Valley area school elections
This year’s school vote was unanimous locally: voters passed all budgets and propositions in local districts that have reported their results thus far to the Observer-Dispatch.
Here are the unofficial vote tallies and candidates elected to local school boards reported to the O-D by districts in Herkimer and Oneida counties, eastern Madison County and Richfield Springs in Otsego County.
Vote tallies are written as votes for-votes against. Names in bold indicates winners.

The seats are for five-year terms from July 1, 2023, through June 30, 2028. When only one person submits a nominating petition to be on the Board of Education when there are two open seats, the person who receives the most write-in votes would fill the second seat. Shauna Douglass received the most write-in votes with 46.
