Who won Shreveport's Taco Wars 2023?

Taco Wars 2023 has come and gone and there is one victor out of 16 competing local taquerias after a day filled with lots of food, music and fun at the Shreveport Municipal Auditorium.

This year's festival was bigger and bolder than ever before with more of everything: tacos, salsa and fun for the whole family. There were vendors selling sweet treats like churros and popsicles as well as two Maestro Dobel Casa de Tequila tents where guests could indulge in the finest tequila and margaritas.

The community voted for the winner of the Golden Molcajete - Best Salsa - while a panel of celebrity taco aficionados determined the winner of the Golden Taco.

  • Mi Meza Latin Cuisine

  • Ramirez Mexican Restaurant

  • Tacos El Culebrito

  • Taco Joe's Authentic Wet Tacos

  • Tamalocos

  • Taqueria Bazzar Mexicano

  • Taqueria El Eden

  • Taqueria Flores

  • Taqueria La Reyna Del Sur

  • Taqueria Mi Palmar

  • Taqueria San Miguel

The winner of Best Salsa was Ramirez Mexican Restaurant.

The winner of Best Taco was Mi Merradito.
