The following are the latest results of Wood County Health Department inspections on licensed food establishments and other types of businesses, which the Wisconsin Rapids Daily Tribune and Marshfield News-Herald reports monthly.

Arpin

  • Me & Mom's Catering, 8213 State 186: Aug. 1: No violations.

  • Pair-A-Dice, 6313 Wood County N: Aug. 8: One violation: No certified food manager for establishment.

Marshfield

  • Central Cafe, 1209 S. Central Ave.: Aug. 16: One violation: Walk-in freezer door gasket not in good repair.

  • Domino's Pizza, 122 S. Central Ave.: Aug. 2: One violation: Door has large gap at bottom.

  • Jamaican Kitchen, 208 S. Chestnut Ave.: Aug. 16: No violations.

  • Marshfield Country Club, 11426 Wren Road: Aug. 2: Four violations: No certified food protection manager for establishment; no approved food protection manager's certificate posted in establishment; dust accumulation from air ducts; gasket on walk-in freezer causing ice accumulation.

  • Taco Bell, 1410 N. Central Ave.: Aug. 16: One violation: Non-food contact surfaces of walk-in cooler door dirty (corrected during inspection).

  • Taco Johns of Marshfield, 813 N. Central Ave.: Aug. 8: One violation: Bottom of two-door reach-in cooler dirty (corrected during inspection).

Wisconsin Rapids

  • Avocados, 3551 Plover Road: Aug. 14: Two violations: Employee washed gloved hands; mole and ground beef in walk-in not properly cooled.

  • Burger King No. 2735, 940 Eighth St. S.: Aug. 2: One violation: Time as a public health control plan not available for review.

  • Critter's Pub, 6620 State 13 S.: Aug. 29: One violation: Unsealed wood present in walk-in cooler.

  • From the Ground Up Coffee, 250 W. Grand Ave.: Aug. 11: One violation: No irreversible registering thermometer in ware washing machine.

  • Pasquales, 2930 Eighth St. S.: Aug. 23: Four violations: Salsa, ketchup and dressing not at proper temperatures; milk in walk-in cooler exceeded date mark; bleach test kit not available for checking sanitizer concentration; no certified food manager for establishment.

  • Rocky Rococo, 1841 Eighth St. S.: Aug. 15: One violation: No handwashing sign at kitchen handwashing sink.

  • Shorty's BBQ, 2962 State 73 N.: Aug. 16: No violations.

  • Sleep Inn & Suites, 4221 Eighth St. S.: Aug. 8: Two violations: No test kit available for checking sanitizer concentrations; no handwashing sign at kitchen handwashing sink.
