Wood County inspections: One restaurant has five violations; seven ace reports

The following are the latest results of Wood County Health Department inspections on licensed food establishments and other types of businesses, which the Wisconsin Rapids Daily Tribune and Marshfield News-Herald report monthly.

Marshfield

  • Bakerville Sports Bar and Grill, 10631 County B: Sept. 22: No violations.

  • Bey's Bar, 305 N. Central Ave.: Sept. 13: No violations.

  • Goodfella's Pub, 141 S. Central Ave.: Sept. 28: No violations.

  • Jamaican Kitchen, 208 S. Chestnut Ave.: Sept 20: One violation: Counter by sink expanding with water damage and should be changed.

  • Marshfield Country Club, 11426 Wren Road: Sept 27: No violations.

  • RiverEdge, 10191 Mill Creek Drive: Sept. 22: Three violations: Items missing date marks; warewashing machine not dispensing detergent or sanitizer automatically; walk-in freezer leaking water and creating large mound of ice.

  • Sunrise Restaurant and Bar, 511 N. Central Ave.: Sept. 15: Two violations: No consumer advisory provided; test kit not available for testing sanitizer concentrations.

  • World Buffet, 503 Ives St.: Aug. 31: Five violations: Employee washing grapes with bare hands (corrected during inspection); variance for sushi rice not followed; handwashing sink not in working order (corrected during inspection); bins of flour, salt and sugar not cleaned frequently; faucet not working in women's restroom.

Wisconsin Rapids

  • Anchor Bay Restaurant, 1259 Anchor Landing Drive: Sept. 14: One violation: Ice accumulation in walk-in freezer.

  • Axe Garage, 2660 Eighth St. S.: Sept. 9: No violations.

  • KFC/Taco Bell, 1750 Eighth St. S.: Three violations: Ice deflector shield in ice machine dirty; ice accumulation in walk-in freezer; outside door and door gasket on walk-in cooler soiled.

  • The Pour House, 3140 Lake Ave.: Sept. 20: No violations.

  • Savory, 4320 80th St. S.: Sept. 20: One violation: No test kit for monitoring sanitizer concentration.

  • Skate City, 2211 36th St. N.: Sept. 14: No violations.

  • Subway Saratoga, 9630 State 13, Wisconsin Rapids: Sept. 26: One violation: Meatballs not held at proper temperature (corrected during inspection).
