Woodstock man dead after Wednesday crash in northeast Cobb

Feb. 23—A Woodstock man was killed in a crash Wednesday in northeast Cobb, the Cobb County Police Department reports.

Police are investigating the crash at Canton Road and Chastain Corner that left Daniel Kansky, 20, dead.

The wreck occurred just before 11 p.m., as Kansky's Honda CBR600, headed south on Canton Road, collided with a Volkswagen Tiguan traveling northbound and attempting to turn onto Chastain Corner, police said.

Angela Jackson, 48, of Marietta, was driving the Volkswagen and did not sustain injuries in the crash, according to police.
