You might see him driving the streets of Royal Oak, Clawson, Ferndale, Berkley and Pleasant Ridge in his robin's egg blue Volkswagen Bus.

Brian Latulippe, 41, started his mobile bike repair service in 2020 and for the third summer, he'll spend four days a week driving around, offering tune-ups, repair services and building bikes right in customers' yards.

Latulippe began using a vintage Volkswagen bus and a set of tools to fix the old, neglected bikes of friends and family members.

“Then people posted on Facebook … and it just blew up,” he says.

That’s when Latulippe realized the demand for his service was almost limitless. He went on to fix 500 bikes in 2020 — and business continues to boom.
