Woofs & Kissing Booths event to benefit pet rescue “Dog Heaven”

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — There’s no love like the love of a pet, but sometimes they don’t always get the love they deserve. Nita Godwin, cofounder of Dog Heaven, Gracie Packard, Lead Marketing Director for Dog Heaven, and Mochi, Dog Heaven’s spokespup, joined FOX21 Morning News to talk about their new pet rescue and a fun event on Valentine’s Day for dog owners and their pets.
“Dog Heaven is an animal sanctuary up in Woodland Park, Colorado that my husband and I started to really help dogs, cats, and horses, that would have been euthanized,” said Godwin.
On Wednesday, Feb. 14, Dog Heaven is teaming up with Pub Dog for a “Whiskey, Wine, Woofs and Kissing Booths” event and fundraiser. Pub Dog is a dog-friendly bar and restaurant in Colorado Springs.
“There will be a kissing booth and we’re going to have digital photos in the kissing booth with your pup,” said Packard.
