Woolwich Ferry Driver Performs Donuts on Thames to Support NHS

A driver of London’s Woolwich Ferry spun the ship in donuts on the evening of April 16, as people across London showed support for NHS workers battling the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak in Britain.

This footage was taken by a resident from the balcony of his home. Elsewhere in London, police and firefighters took to Westminster Bridge to applaud NHS staff.

As of April 16, over 104,000 people in the UK have been confirmed as infected with the virus, and more than 13,700 have died from complications. Credit: @matty_szos via Storyful
