Robinson-O'Hagan was the Rhode Island Player of the Year in Outdoor Boys Track. There have been few throwers in state history who could match the dominance of the Woonsocket senior and Ole Miss commit. At the state championships, he swept the hammer, shot put and discus at Brown Stadium, setting a new meet record in the process. His mark of 64 feet, 8¼ inches in the shot put eclipsed the standard set by Lenny Rao in 1971. Robinson-O'Hagan captured the hammer by more than 30 feet and the discus by more than 25 feet.

He is now among 24 standouts to be honored as nominees for national Boys Track & Field Athlete of the Year. The winner, along with three finalists, will be revealed July 31 during an on-demand broadcast, which this year will feature top athletes in 29 boys and girls sports awards categories as well as special honors such as Special Olympics Athlete of the Year, Rising Star and Play of the Year.

All national nominees must register to provide show information and receive important updates regarding the show. To register, click on the "REGISTER" button on the event website.
