Worcester County COVID-19 vaccine tracker: 65% of people fully vaccinated

Some 65% of people living in Worcester County are fully vaccinated as of Dec. 14, according to data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

The CDC considers someone fully vaccinated two weeks after they've been given a single-dose shot (Johnson & Johnson) or a second shot (either Pfizer or Moderna).

Massachusetts reported 985,946 total cases of coronavirus, an increase of 4% from the week before.

The five counties with the highest percentage of their population fully vaccinated in Massachusetts as of Dec. 14 are Middlesex County (76%), Norfolk County (75%), Essex County (69%), Suffolk County (69%) and Plymouth County (66%).
