Worcester County COVID-19 vaccine tracker: 67% of people fully vaccinated

Sixty-seven percent of Worcester County residents were fully vaccinated as of Tuesday, according to data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

The CDC considers someone fully vaccinated two weeks after they've been given a single-dose shot (Johnson & Johnson) or the second of a two-dose shot (either Pfizer or Moderna).

Massachusetts reported 1,365,608 total cases of coronavirus, up 15% from last week.

The five Massachusetts counties with the highest percentage of residents fully vaccinated are Middlesex (77%), Norfolk (77%), Essex (71%), Suffolk (71%) and Plymouth (68%).
