WORCESTER – Police continue to investigate the fatal shooting of a teenager in a supermarket parking lot early Saturday.

There have been no arrests.

The victim appears to be Jazmin Rosario, 17, of Worcester, whose death is the focus of a GoFundMe page. According to the page, the fundraising effort was created by an aunt to cover funeral expenses. Police have not publicly identified the victim.

The fatal shooting occurred about 2:30 a.m. in the parking lot of the Big Y supermarket, 100 Mayfield St.

A small memorial has taken shape in the days since the killing. Candles, a blue teddy bear, a banana toy and pink flowers have been placed under the Big Y sign.

Police Tuesday said the case remains under investigation.
