Worcester schools on 2-hour delay Tuesday after overnight snow
Public schools in Worcester will open two hours later than usual Tuesday after overnight snow in the city.
There is no morning preschool and Head Start at city schools.
The city is seeing relief from recent bone-chilling temperatures. The thermometer was at 28 degrees and 5 a.m. Tuesday and could be near 40 during the day, according to the National Weather Service.
Abby Kelley Foster Charter Public School in Worcester will also have a two-hour delay Tuesday.
Most schools in Central Massachusetts will open at the usual time Tuesday.
