Workers remember starting TSA 20 years at BWI-Marshall

Twenty years ago, Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport became a model for other airports around the country when it came to security. After the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, the newly established Transportation Security Administration took over security at its first airport, BWI-Marshall. TSA officers and dignitaries gathered at the Maryland airport Friday morning to reflect on the changes that have enhanced airport security.
