World Ag Expo: Your guide to the best food

Tulare County is preparing to welcome thousands to the annual World Ag Expo this week.

With plenty of special events, seminars, high-profile visitors and demonstrations planned over the three-day event, expo goers have numerous snacks and meals to enjoy.

Most food booths offer drink options — including water and soda — while other booths offer select items found only at the Ag Expo.

Here are a few options being offered at the World Ag Expo and where to find them:

Savory mains, North Exhibits

Food Booth 1 — loaded tri-tip baked potatoes and loaded chicken baked potatoes

Food Booth 3 — breakfast burritos, steak sandwiches, sausage sandwiches, tuna sandwiches, and nachos

Food Booth 4 — tri-tip sandwiches, chicken sandwiches, breakfast burritos

Food Booth 5 — tri-tip sandwiches, Trump burgers, double and single burgers, fried Oreos, nachos, jumbo hotdogs, and breakfast burritos

Food Booth 6 — rib rye sandwiches, tri-tip sandwiches, chili beans, hot dogs, potato salad, breakfast burritos, biscuits and gravy

Food Booth 9 — Sons of Italy, sausage sandwiches, pasta plates, anti pasta salad

Food Booth 33 — black coffee, hot and iced mochas, mocha and caramel frappuccinos, breakfast muffins, cinnamon rolls, breakfast sandwiches

There are also a few areas where adults can enjoy alcohol, like the wine and cheese lounge in the south exhibits area.

The World Ag Expo is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Feb. 14 and 15, and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Feb. 16 at 4500 Sout Laspina Street, at the International Agri-Center.
