‘World-famous tile house’ in California will make your head spin. ‘Not a boring room’

Talk about a major color explosion that sparks the creative mind.

A house for sale in Twentynine Palms, California, is turning heads thanks to its vibrant color scheme running wild throughout the entire residence.

The two-bedroom, one-bathroom, 1,820-square-foot home is listed for $857,000 and even has its own name: The world-famous tile house.

“This artisan gem is a Mojave Desert cultural icon, located in the artsy community of Wonder Valley,” the listing on Zillow.com describes. “It was nominated as one of the top 3 most creative homes in the world by Airbnb in 2016. This home has been used in fashion magazine photo shoots and music videos.

“Covered in artistic tile inside and out, this one-of-a-kind home takes assemblage to a new level as it whimsically blends pop-art, fine art, and spiritual references and artisan tile work into a very unique style, all its own. Every time you see it, you’re bound to see something new.”

The home sits on 20 acres with views of the tourist-packed Joshua Tree National Park. It’s also near a private water well, the listing says.

The main draw is that every room appears to be dramatically different — from it’s curious dining area, to its brighter than sunshine rays kitchen — nothing is really on repeat.

The tile house was featured on Friday Night Zillow, a Twitter segment that posts unique homes on the real estate market.

“The ‘World Famous Tile House’ in the Twentynine Palms desert is for sale for $857K. 4.96 rating on AirBnB. Eye candy dial goes to 11. Enjoy!” tweeted Steven Dennis, the segment’s creator.

The thread went on to highlight different rooms throughout the house.

I love this colorful house,” one person said.

The random mannequins would scare the crap out of me constantly,” someone pointed out.

My first thought: Walt Disney threw up all over this house,” another joked.

Not a boring room in the house,” one person observed.

Twentynine Palms is 140 miles east of Los Angeles.
