World War II-Era Plane Crashes Into Ocean Filled With People During Cocoa Beach Air Show

Witnesses told Florida Today they heard the BM Avenger engine sputtering down the beach and knew something was off as the plane slowly descended Saturday during the Cocoa Beach Air Show. Read more:

- Caught on camera-- a plane comes crashing down along a busy Florida beach narrowly avoiding people in the water. Take a look at the dramatic video out of Cocoa Beach. You can see the moments the plane slowly gets closer to the water before crashing down. Authorities say the World War two airplane, which is part of a nearby air show, experienced an engine failure forcing the pilot to put it down in the water. Thankfully, no one was injured, including the pilot who waved at onlookers after the sudden splash down.
