Worth Avenue Pet Parade and Costume Contest: Here's the list of winners
Downtown Palm Beach on Saturday was for the dogs. Literally, as it was the scene of the 30th annual Worth Avenue Pet Parade and Costume Contest in Via Amore.
Dozens of proud owners of dogs, cats and assorted other animals dressed themselves and their pets in funny or cute costumes and showed them off to a discerning panel of judges. Though the competition was ruff, the mood was celebratory and no claws came out among the contenders.
Judges were Mayor Danielle Moore; Jason Schaefer, co-owner of Woofgang Bakery and Grooming; Gregg Shenkar of ABS Real Estate Partners; and Catherine Lewis of Bibi's Boutique.
