Worthington Schools: Julie Payne succeeds Cindy Fox as Bluffsview principal
Bluffsview Elementary School students will see a new face when they return to class in August.
The Worthington Schools Board of Education on June 13 approved the appointment of Julie Payne as the new principal of school at 7111 Linworth Road.
"As a prior teacher at Bluffsview and an instructional coach in Worthington, I'm excited to take this next step in a place I consider home," she said. "Bluffsview is an amazing school with wonderful students, families and teachers, and I'm honored to get to lead and be a part of such a great learning community."
Payne replaces principal Cindy Fox, who is retiring, and is to receive a salary of $105,318 annually. Her benefits include medical, dental and vision with an estimated valuation ranging from $16,808 to $41,174, depending on what insurance coverage she selects.
"I have had the privilege of working with Cindy Fox for the past 15 years," Payne said. "We will miss her immensely and look forward to carrying on and building upon her legacy."
Payne is scheduled to start Aug. 1.
