'Wow!': Steve Wozniak Delights in Original Apple Computer He Designed in 1970s

Jimmy Grewal’s enthusiasm for Apple products is clear from his extensive collection, and now, thanks to the sale of an Apple I signed by its co-creator, Steve Wozniak, he plans to seek more opportunities to share that enthusiasm with the public.

Grewal runs the AAPL Collection in Dubai, described as “one of the most comprehensive private collections of vintage Apple computers and accessories in the world.”

Back in 2021, he met with Steve Wozniak, and presented the Apple co-founder with a motherboard from a 1976 Apple I, which Wozniak signed. Video from the encounter shows a surprised Wozniak, reuniting with the vintage piece of tech.

Grewal told Storyful the “Woz” in fact signed two of the devices, one of which he sold for $340,100.

“I intend to use the proceeds from the sale to expand the collection and create more opportunities to display it to the public,” Grewal said.
