WPD hosting Drug Takeback Day this Saturday

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — The Wichita Police Department is hosting a Drug Takeback Day on Saturday, April 27.

Takeback Day is a free event for communities nationwide to properly dispose of old and unneeded medications safely and anonymously.

The event will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Patrol West and Patrol East stations.

Wichita police officers and Drug Enforcement Agency agents will be on hand to help with the event.
