Jan. 10—MADISON — Piecing together six straight wins at the end of its dual with New London-Spicer, Dawson-Boyd/Lac qui Parle Valley/Montevideo picked up an important win over a Section 3AA opponent.

United came away with a 46-18 victory over the Wildcats at the team's home triangular at LQPV High School.

Winning by fall for United were: Kameron Sather (138 pounds), Mason Pederson (170), Parker Bothun (195) and Zach DeBeer (220).

Isaiah Nelson (120) and Adam Sandau (152) both scored falls for NLS.

Facing another 3AA foe, the Wildcats went 1-1 on the night with a 67-6 win over Redwood Valley.

Nelson (120), Sandau (152), Mathew Gherke (160), William Dahl (170), Payton Meis (195), Lucas Swenson (220) and Marshel Johnson (285) all pinned their Redwood Valley opponents.
