DOVER, N.H.(NEXSTAR) – As election day approaches, the names that will, or will not, appear on the New Hampshire ballot are a hot topic among many voters.

President Joe Biden is one candidate who will not be on the ballot in New Hampshire because of a disagreement over the primary schedule. This led to the formation of the “Write In Biden” campaign.

“We just didn’t feel that not having Joe Biden on the ballot was a reason people shouldn’t vote for him. Even though it sounds simple to write in his name, we need to inform people how to do it,” said one of the group’s founding members, Walter King.

While the “Write in Biden” campaign is concerned right now with whether voters will come out for the primary, they’re just as concerned that those same voters will come out in the general election.

As Donald Trump holds the lead in New Hampshire, members of the campaign feel that there are still better candidates out there.

“I know how important it is to prevent another Republican from getting into The White House,” said campaign member, Alice Wade. “The Republican Party, in its current state, is not really worth a vote.”
