WRITE ON: A gift of pretty colored leaves
MY GIFT TO YOU
Hey! Hey you! Look over here at this tree with so many pretty
colored leaves.
Yes, yes, this is the one! Now look a little higher in this tree.
See me? See me? I’m waving at you.
Don’t pay any attention to the others, the prettiest one is me.
It’s September and all us leaves are starting to change,
But, I tried so hard to be the first and the best,
And I did it! I really did it and I am very proud.
I hope you enjoy your magnificent view, it is my gift to you and
All our other guests.

HOLIDAY SIGNS
Pumpkins, turkeys, elves
Lots of glam on shelves
The holidays are near.
Candy canes and lights
Bells and festive sights
The holidays are near.
Stockings, trees and cards
Reindeer in the yards
The holidays are near
Dark nativity
Soon activity
The holidays are near

GROUNDED
Three old women — Agnes, Bertha, and Maude —
Became real good friends in America
After they all settled here from abroad
In a state by the name of Florida.
They loved to fly no matter the weather
And went quite happily from place to place.
It never bothered them at all whether
The trip was local or in outer space.
The holiday came and went. Only two
Were together on their romp through the air.
Later, they chided the third: “Oh, boo, hoo!”
She replied calmly as she met their stare:
“Now you just hush all your jeers and whistles!
My broom was in the shop - broken bristles.”

LORD WHAT HAVE I DONE FOR YOU TODAY?
Lord you have done so much for me as
I go on life's way, I stop and think
Dear Lord, (what have I done for you today)
We get so busy in this life with daily trials
and strife, forgetting about you Lord
and your awesome sacrifice.
You came to earth a baby so you could
understand, all the human problems that's
encountered on this earth by man.
Gathering your disciples you taught them
what they should know, how to love and care
for others, true Christian love to show.
Thank you for your great love, you died to
set us free, you took our sins on yourself that
day when you died on Calvary.
I pause again, and ask myself,
What have I done for you today
you did so much for me
