Fred Blankenship and Lori Wilson from Channel 2 Action News This Morning happily gave their favorite Christmas dishes.

Wilson says her favorite holiday food is dressing because it’s not something people normally cook year-round.

“The only time we had it was Thanksgiving and it’s such a good flavorful mix of spices,” said Wilson. “It’s just warm going down.”

Wilson says she does not cook the dressing...she just enjoys eating it.

“When someone else cooks it, it’s amazing and moist,” Wilson laughed.

Blankenship says his favorite holiday dish is dressing as well, but he likes his with cranberry sauce. He is a big fan of cranberry sauce and he has specifications for his sauce.

“It has to be in the can! With the rings around it,” said Blankenship.

He jokingly said he has to see the serial number and the dent from the can on the cranberry sauce. In addition to that, he recalls the sound of a good canned cranberry sauce.

“And what sound does it make? ‘SHLOOP’,” he laughed.
