West Texas A&M head volleyball coach Kendra Potts has announced the addition of Brook Alverson to the Lady Buffs coaching staff.

A native of Fort Worth, Alverson joins the Lady Buffs after spending the past two seasons in Navarro College in Corsicana, Texas. As head coach at the junior college, she guided the Bulldogs to a record of 38-19, including 20-6 this past season with a trip to the NJCAA Region XIV Tournament.

Alverson has 14 years of coaching experience, mostly at the club level, but also spent time at Independence Community College in Kansas.

Though she's a new face to the Panhandle, Alverson is familiar to Potts, having played for her at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.
