The West Texas A&M women's soccer team finished with a scoreless draw against Lubbock Christian on Wednesday. The Lady Buffs are now 7-1-1 overall and 1-1-1 in Lone Star Conference play.

Reagan Heelan registered a season-high seven saves for her fifth shutout of the year. WT is back in action on Saturday at home against UT Tyler.

Men's golf finishes 11th at MSSU Invitational

The WT men's golf team finished the MSSU Invitational in Monkey Island, Oklahoma in 11th place. A final day score of 292 (+4) helped net the spot as they improved by 16 strokes from Monday's count.

Luis Palomo was the top performer for the Buffs as he ended the tournament in 10th place with a score of 218 (+2).

WT will host the Ryan Palmer Foundation Invitational next Monday and Tuesday at Amarillo Country Club.
